About the Author

Shalom,

My name is Jason. I am a talmid (disciple) of Yeshua HaMessiach, commonly (and incorrectly) refered to as Jesus the Christ. I attend Beit Or (House of Light) in Rockwall, TX and study under Rabbi Yitzhak (Issac) Levi.

I am a Jew. More properly, I am Ivri which means “crossed over” and is where the word “Hebrew” comes from. I believe that following Torah to the best of my abilities is required to be accepted by G-d. This puts me outside the realm of Christianity.

In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven. “Don’t think that I have come to abolish the Torah or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to complete. Yes indeed! I tell you that until heaven and earth pass away, not so much as a yud or a stroke will pass from the Torah not until everything that must happen has happened. So whoever disobeys the least of these mitzvot and teaches others to do so will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But whoever obeys them and so teaches will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven. – Matthew 5:16-19 CJB

While it would be nice if more of my fellow Jews followed Yeshua, it is not necessary. The Word of G-d is Torah. Yeshua is the Word made Flesh. Yeshua *IS* Torah. Those who walk in Torah and keep the mitzvot (commandments) are following Yeshua whether they know it or not.

I reject Christianity in all it’s forms. Christianity teaches that Torah (incorrectly translated as “the law”) is no longer valid. If true, this would make G-d a liar. A god who lies is not the G-d of Avraham, Yitzhak, and Ya’akov. Such a god is not G-d at all. It is a false god and is an abomination.

If you are a Christian reading this site, I urge you to stop listening to the lies your pastors and preachers have been telling you. Read your bible. Study it. Begin in Genesis and continue all the way to Revelation. Anything you find that appears to contradict something else is a misinterpretation on your part. Most likely it is because you are looking at it from a non-Jewish perspective.

I realize that this may be hard for you to hear. It was hard for me to realize. I was born a Jew (though I did not know this for a long time), raised as a Baptist, and later attended Seminary. It was in Seminary that I was exposed to the truth of the “Jewishness” of the Bible. When examining the Bible in its original languages and from the Jewish mindset, I was forced to reject traditional Christian thinking as an aberration from G-d’s Holy plan for mankind.

I pray that you will dilligently search out and find the Truth.

Sha’alu Shalom Yerushalayim,

Jason
